This is luscious, like the whole interior of a dark New York supper club. (I also had the passing thought that he did in Scrooge McDuck to get at that hoard).
a really nice piece fits the theme well. You have some really great works on this blog too.
I was just thinking to have an illo about a rich man with lots of treasures like him, but, how much is enough? and when he die, he can't bring along the money.. and what happen? sense of security or greed ? sorry bad English grammar, can't describe it better,,
